"Deer Dreamers" is not just one song, but is actually a suite of several songs, all recorded LIVE with no overdubs at Sage Court Studio, Ann Arbor, Michigan by The New Newz (Muruga Booker, Tony Strat P-Funk Thomas, and Benjamin Piner).

The inspiration for these songs came to Muruga in a dream.
